These are the aspects that the Food Around project, born from the exchange of ideas between Paolo Vizzari and Mattia Alberani, proposes to explore.

An extraordinary journey, where gastronomy becomes the bridge that connects hearts and cultures.

Paolo's attentive and curious eye, combined with his extraordinary palate and captivating narration, will be the "red thread" guiding the audience through the discovery of unusual territories and flavors. Alongside him, a local chef or producer and an Italian chef will contribute to creating a unique synergy. A culinary collaboration that will not only delight the senses but also transport the audience on a multisensory adventure, revealing deep connections between food, places and cultural traditions. 

Each stage of this journey is captured by the Cinefood team's cameras, transforming the entire experience into an engaging documentary, enhanced by accurate photo reportage. In this unique combination of experiences, the Food Around project invites the audience to immerse themselves in an extraordinary journey, where gastronomy becomes the bridge that connects hearts and cultures in an unforgettable adventure.

The history of Casamance

Our latest project, carried out in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Dakar, explored the region of Casamance, Senegal.

Together with Senegalese Chef Raoul Coly and Italobrazilian Chef Mauricio Zillo, we led viewers to discover the diversity of local products, exploring the variety of ingredients that characterize the region. Chef Zillo's fusion of Senegalese and Italian-Brazilian traditions led to the creation of united dishes, thanks to the combination of the two chefs' culinary experience and creativity.

By embracing Food Around projects, we go beyond simply discovering new territories, transforming every taste and every encounter into a moment of sharing, mutual enrichment and cross-cultural understanding. Food Around thus becomes a bridge between worlds, where taste becomes a universal language to explore, understand and celebrate the diversity of our planet.
